The Full Story

CORA STRINGHAM

A talented, young artist with notes and melodies that can fill the listener with hope and faith.

Cora Stringham

Cora Stringham first began writing music sitting on her bedroom floor at age 13, but music has always been a part of her life. Her mother taught her piano ever since she can remember and she learned how to sing at church using the hymn books. Eventually, she served a mission for her church to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. At first, music was a way to express herself more fully and fill the world with something beautiful. However, throughout her time in Northern California, she learned that music is also healing for the soul. It isn’t always about the message or the way it sounds, but it is a means of connection in a world that grows increasingly divided. Music can be a very vulnerable space where emotions are unlocked and fears are faced. It brings a special spirit of peace, hope and belonging. Her desire is to share this kind of light with others and watch that light spread throughout the world.
